Online Service
Online services, such as America Online and CompuServe offer special services
for their members (such as e-mail, chat rooms, and clubs) as well as Internet access.
Organizational Domain
The part of a domain name that indicates the type of organization to which the
domain belongs. There are currently seven organization domains in use: com (Commercial
Entities); edu (Educational Institutions; gov (Non-Military US Government institutions);
int (International Institutions NATO); mil (US Military Institutions); net (Network
Resources); org (Non-Profit Organizations.)
